Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She was secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant communications director (2009–2011) and the spokesperson for the Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was an election contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then served as press secretary in John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki worked as the director of communications to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 as the press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 campaign. 20 February, 2013, Psaki became the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. There was speculation that she was to replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21But, Josh Earnest was announced to succeed Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. In the year 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and was there until the end of the Obama administration.
